We had another great week at CMS!!
In 7th grade science, students collected the results of the transpiration process!!
Our young urban farmers have been BUSY!! Students planted irises around the drain and peach trees in our new little orchard!! Mr. Reisinger, our Agriculture/Agriscience teacher, reports that he is very proud of the work that students have accomplished thus far this year - the work is not easy, and students are stepping up to the challenge!!
Students in math intervention used M&Ms to write and compare fractions!
|
Students participated in a Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament in preparation for their first unit in 6th grade English, which focuses on competition.

|
In 6th grade English, students read about intelligence and did a mindset maze. They had to work as a team to make it through by learning from their mistakes and trusting each other for guidance.
In Art class, students illustrated positive quotes using calligraphy, color, and imagery!!

Student Supervision & Entry Schedule
Standard Game Days: Doors open 30 minutes prior to the scheduled game start time. Parents/guardians must arrange for off-campus supervision until doors open, as early drop-offs will not be allowed inside the building.
Friday's Game Special Schedule: Because Friday's game begins shortly after dismissal, students are permitted to remain on campus and wait after school, as the doors will open 15 minutes after the final bell.
Please ensure any necessary pickup or supervision plans are arranged in advance based on these entry times.
For more information on athletics for the season, check out our CMS Athletic Webpage that is updated weekly with
upcoming games/tickets/and upcoming sports.
